College Degree:  BA in Education from University of Nebraska @ Kearney 1987, with additional coursework completed at UNL, UNO, Doane College and the Vandercook Conservatory of Music.

This is my 24th year of teaching/ 12th at Platteview

It is my belief that all children can learn and our job as teachers is to create the best possible environment for that learning.  Each part of our daily work should be relevant to our task, and both practical and useable outside of the classroom.  Each student is vitally important to the success of our group, as their individual successes combine to make up the overall success of our performing groups.  Students are expected to follow instructions and allow everyone to have the opportunity to learn in a safe and positive atmosphere.

Advice to my students:  Use every minute to gain knowledge to add to your set of skills.  Work hard and have no regrets.
